As part of our scheduled maintenance, we will be updating the default Harness Cloud VM images during the maintenance window on August 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM IST.
What's changing:
Linux: The latest image tag will be updated from Ubuntu 22 to Ubuntu 24.
Pipelines explicitly pinned to Ubuntu 22 will continue to use that version with no action required.
macOS: The latest image tag will be updated from macOS Sonoma to macOS Sequoia.
macOS Sonoma will be deprecated as part of this update.
What you need to do:
If your pipelines rely on the latest image tag, we recommend validating them against the new images before the maintenance window.
If you need to continue using a specific OS version, please update your pipeline configuration to pin the desired image version before the maintenance window.
